Bao Moua decided to participate in Hmong Museum’s Unforgotten program to learn about the history of the Vietnam War and the experience of the Hmong families.

Cheng Xiong started his career as a street dancer and is now a professional dancer. He was a speaker at the 2020 “Dancing while Hmong” event.
Duachaka Her is a Hmong-American cartoonist and illustrator. Also, the winner of Hmong Museum’s 5-year commemorative t-shirt design.
Hlee Lee is a community storyteller with expertise in digital-based journalism.

Kathy Mouacheupao is a community leader in the Twin Cities. She’s an advocated for the arts and the Hmong people.
Katie Ka Vang is a Hmong American playwright, actor, performance and theater artist. She envisions her work to activate individuals and communities to tell their own truths. Her work lives on the intersection of community, arts, and healing. She has been described as a “dynamic performer and relentless writer of truth.”
Lue Thao, also known as Bboy Finisher, is a professional dancer that teaches, travels, and competes around the US. He was a speakers at the 2020 “Dancing while Hmong” event.
Mai Moua Thao was a speakers at the 2020 “Dancing while Hmong” event.
Melvina Cha is a practitioner, student, and community member of the MN street dance scene. She spoke at the 2020 “Dancing while Hmong” event.
Nancy Xiong dance journey includes Traditional Hmong dancing, K-pop covers, hip hop and open styles. She was a speakers at the 2020 “Dancing while Hmong” event.
Shawn Vue is a Hmong American dance choreographer located in Minnesota. Shawn was a speakers at the 2020 “Dancing while Hmong” event.
Suzanne Thao, is a Hmong paj ntaub expert and instructor of Project Paj Ntaub, a free monthly workshop through Hmong Museum.
Vanghoua is an international artist based out of Brisbane, Australia. In 2017, Vanghoua designed a mural for Downtown St. Paul and taught his famous tape and spray-painting techinque as part of his fellowship with Hmong Museum and the Minnesota Museum of American Art.
Xiongpao “XP” Lee is a renaissance man with many talents and stories to share about community, country and growing up American-Hmong. He’s passionate about making sure the Hmong in America get counted accurately.
Yeng Her is passionate about education and community. He’s an artist and educator.
