The Hmong community is the largest Asian group in Minnesota. Over 94,000 Hmong people live in Minnesota as of 2022. What makes Minnesota so attractive to so many Hmong people?

Hmong Museum is mapping historically significant places of the Hmong community. We hope to capture Hmong stories throughout Minnesota (and beyond) on a digital story map.

Where was the earliest Hmong business? What were important neighborhoods? Where did Hmong children go to school? Help us to fill up that map!
