Button Design Contest: Commemorating 50 Years of Hmong Resettlement

CALL FOR ARTIST
Hmong Museum is hosting a button design contest to commemorate the 50th Year Anniversary of Hmong Refugee Resettlement in the United States.

Four artists will be selected. There is a $75 prize for each winner. All ages are encouraged to submit!

Ends May 1, 2025. Email us with questions: chitshia.chang@hmongmuseummn.org.

Our theme is COMMEMORATIVE RESILIANCE.

The theme of the button art will be about commemorative resilience, remembering Hmong American experiences in the last 50 years. Think about how to showcase and remember the experiences of the Hmong people in the last 50 years. How has the Hmong community grown in the last 50 years? What are some milestones? What are some memorable moments in our community? What have we as a community achieved since coming to Minnesota 50 years ago?
